Ella Lyndell Frum, age 64 of West Lafayette, IN, formerly of Porter, IN, passed away unexpectedly at IU Health Arnett on May 18, 2017.

Ella was born on December 22, 1952, to Elizabeth and Kurt Kannowski of Hobart, IN.

On August 10, 1974, she married Keith Frum of Portage who survives along with their daughter Christina (Rick) Cunningham of West Lafayette; son Jacob (Kerry) Frum, and grandsons Griffin and Beckett, of New Buffalo, MI.

Also surviving are her sisters Margaret (Rick) Easton of Elkhart, IN and nephew Richard; Sue (Eugene) Velazco of Merrillville and niece Melissa; and Carol Kannowski of Hobart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Kurt and Rick Kannowski.

She was a school bus driver at Duneland School Corporation for over 20 years and also worked at Jewel Osco for many years.

She enjoyed the simple things in life like going to the beach, reading a good book, taking Otis and Honey for a walk and playing with her grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk on Wednesday, May 31, from 4 to 7 p.m., at 100 Riverwalk Rd., Portage, IN, 46368.
