Services Wednesday for Gloria Wilson, age 82

Gloria Wilson, 82, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 7:55 a.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born April 30, 1934. in Michigan City, Indiana. to the late William and Helen (Zawacki) Kuskowski.

In 1957 in Michigan City, Indiana. she married Jack Wilson who preceded her in death on October 7, 1967.

Surviving are two sons, Bruce (Cindy) Wilson of Michigan City, Indiana and Steven Wilson of Brighton, Utah; three grandchildren, Jack Wilson of Houston, Texas, Chelsey (Michael) Manion of Chesterton, Indiana, and Ethan (Adrienne) Rebac of Michigan City, Indiana; two great-grandchildren, Milly Manion and Piper Rebac.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Marie Jakelski, Lorraine Jarka, Adeline Williams and Leona Sobecki; brother Matthew Bankowski and companion and friend, Stephen Kropog.

Gloria was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Michigan City, and the Michigan City Exchangette Club. She was a registered nurse and retired from the Medical Group of Michigan City after many years of service. She also was a former owner/partner of Honey-Glo Fishing Charter Boat with Stephen Kropog.
