Services Saturday for Dale Mark Digger Logmann

Dale Mark “Digger” Logmann, age 55 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.

He was born on November 29, 1960, in Michigan City, IN, to Marvin and Florence (Barlow) Logmann.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nada (Blohm) Logmann; daughter, Dawn Logmann of Chesterton, IN; brothers, Doug Logmann and Marty Logmann of Michigan City, IN; sisters, Diane (Alan) Wisthoff of Westville, IN, Anita (Ray) Kowalski of LaPorte, IN, Leslie Umphrey of Michigan City, IN and Georganne Spaid of Michigan City, IN, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and one great great-niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas, Terry and James Logmann; sister, Arlene Logmann; and brother-in-law, Mike Spaid.

Dale was a member of the Moose Lodge 980 in Michigan City and he served on the board of The International Friendship Gardens. Dale worked for Sullair for over 15 years and enjoyed working on old cars and building things and helping family and friends. Dale was a loving husband, dad, brother and uncle.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN, 46304, with Pastor Tom Potter officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.ee-fh.com
