Services Saturday for Antoinette B. Yagelski

Antoinette B. Yagelski, 83, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 2:36 p.m. in Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m., Friday and from 8:30 a.m. -9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. The St. Stanislaus Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel.

She was born October 20, 1932, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Ignatz and Agatha (Koziol) Pluta.

On September 4, 1954, in Otis, Indiana she married Stanley F. Yagelski, who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Christine (Alan) Daniels of Orland Hills, IL, and Kathleen Wilson of Franklin, IN; two sons, Richard (Susan) Yagelski of Fort Meyers, FL, and Kenneth (Laura) Yagelski of Virginia Beach, VA; twelve grandchildren, Matt (Lori) Daniels, Bethany (Lu) Lubacz, Angela (Alex) Zavala, Jenna Daniels, Andrew (Nicolette) Yagelski, Ryan Yagelski, Melanie Yagelski, Kristen Wilson, Lauren Wilson, Chelsie McKittrick, Courtney (Justin) Elsbury and Anthony Yagelski; five great-grandchildren, Evan Daniels, Collin Daniels, Dexter Yagelski, Parker Lubacz, Davis Zavala; and her brother, Steve Pluta of Chesterton, IN.

She was also preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.

Antoinette was a member St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Stanislaus Rosary Society for over 50 years, St. Stanislaus Consolation Choir and the Young at Heart Club.
