Service Wednesday for Brenda Sue Wallace, 63

Brenda Sue Wallace, age 63 of Valparaiso, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2016, at her home.

She was born on July 17, 1952, in Scottsburg, IN, to Woodrow and Alice Dean, both of whom preceded her in death.

On May 16, 1981, at the First Christian Church in Michigan City, she married Guy L. Wallace, who survives in Valparaiso, IN.

Brenda is also survived by her loving children: Cassandra (Tien) Wallace of Chesterton, IN, Ashley Wallace of Baltimore, MD, Hayley Wallace of Burns Harbor, IN, and Kynan Wallace of Chesterton, IN; her precious grandchildren: Keira, Adlyn, and Rowan Wallace; her sisters: Sheila Kahl of Clarksille, IN, and Toni (Ron) Wetzel of Osceola, IN; and by her father-in-law, John Wallace of Michigan City, IN.

She is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law Marilyn Wallace.

Brenda was Salutatorian and class officer for the class of 1970 at Scottsburg High School. She attended Purdue University. Brenda loved spending time with her family; especially her children and her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She worked as a Custodian at Chesterton High School for many years. She was also the leader of the Liberty Hot Shots 4-H Club.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 11 a.m., at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South Second Street, Chesterton, IN. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be given to the Wallace family, the Porter County Parks Department, 155 East Indiana Avenue, Valparaiso, IN, or to Porter County 4-H.
