Elvera Weidman Sarver passes away at 95

Elvera (Vera) Weidman Sarver passed away on December 8, 2016, in Burlington, Washington, at age 95.

Elvera was born in Jackson Township, Indiana, on August 27, 1921, to Seigfried and Eva Yeager Weidman, who preceded her in death.

She graduated from Chesterton High School in 1939.

On September 3, 1947 she married Harold Sarver, who preceded her in death in 1991.

She is survived by daughter, Naomi (Philip) Anderson of Washington; sister, Norrita (James) Kistler of Saratoga, California; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Weidman of Arizona. She will be missed also by grandchildren, Keith Anderson of New Hampshire and Kiera (Brandon) Wright of Washington; great-grandson, Noah Wright of Washington; two nieces; three nephews; and many cousins and friends.

Her brother Wesley Weidman preceded her in death in February 2009.

A funeral service was held on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Kern Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA. Final resting place will be the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were under the care of Kern Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.
