William 'Bill' Walsh services Wednesday

William “Bill” L. Walsh, age 60 of Chesterton, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015, in South Bend, IN.

He was born on May 6, 1954 in Gary, IN, to his father, James Walsh, who preceded him in death and his mother, Ann Folk, who survives in Chesterton.

He is also survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Doug) Corwine, of Parker, CO, and Susan (Mike) Rohler of West Lafayette, IN, as well as his three grandchildren: Drew, Peyton and Kylan Rohler. His siblings: Patrick (Julia) Walsh of Chesterton, John (Carol) Walsh of San Diego, CA, Tim Walsh of Chesterton, Becky (Doug) Fekete of Phoenix, AZ, and Bud (Narintorn) Walsh of Spangdahlem Air force Base, Germany are also surviving.

He is also preceded in death by his brother, Dan Walsh.

Bill worked as a Machinist at the General Electric Power Plant for many years. He was a member of the Communication Workers of America, Local 8103, Albany, NY, as well as a member of the National Rifle Association. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, gardening and crossword puzzles.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 7 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton.
