Visitation Friday, November 20 for Bryce H. Morgan, age 79

Bryce H. Morgan, 79, of Chesterton, Indiana went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bryce was born in Portland, Indiana, on August 6, 1936, to William and Nina (Owen) Morgan.

He married Judith Ploughe in Tipton, Indiana on December 9, 1961.

Bryce had many jobs while growing up. He served in the Air Force in Japan during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning from service, he worked for Pepsi Cola. He and Judy moved to Chesterton with their two daughters in October 1966. He started with Chesterton State Bank and worked there until his retirement in 1998. In retirement, Bryce and Judy enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to numerous states and spending their winters in Florida. Bryce attended New Life Wesleyan Church until his illness prevented him from doing so.

Bryce is survived by his wife, Judith; daughters, Pamela (Mick) Bates of Beckley, West Virginia, and Kimberly (Kevin) Lindstedt of Chesterton, Indiana, and six grandchildren, Abigail, Mallory, Callan, Mikeal, Clare, and Allison. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marie Morgan of Tipton, Indiana and many loving nieces and nephews.

Bryce was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, William (Bud) and Jack, sisters, Juanita, Wilma Jean, Erma, Thelma, and Martha Mae.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana.

A private family service led by Pastor Erik Grayvold of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
