Annabel J. Pocock,
93, of Angola, Indiana, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at her home in Cameron
She was a homemaker
in her own home.
She was a member of
the Flint United Methodist Church.
Annabel was born
February 11, 1922, in rural Butler, Indiana, to Melva Dale and Frances
Dessie (Rummel) Lowe.
She married Carl
Wilbur Pocock on November 19, 1939.
Surviving are her
two sons Russel (Elva) Pocock of Chesterton, Indiana and Danny (Betty)
Pocock of Flint, Indiana; three daughters Diana Keller of Edon, Ohio, Connie
(Doug) Swegles of Angola, Indiana and Holly (Mykyl) Stewart of Hudson,
Indiana; one sister Phyllis Nall of Knoxville, Tennessee; 30 grandchildren,
51 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by her parents, her husband Carl Wilbur Pocock in October 1996, her
daughter Linda Hale, seven brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at
11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola,
Indiana, with Pastor John Cohrs officiating.
Visitation will be
from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a
later date in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
