Matthew Gloyeske,
age 54 of Westville, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Porter
Regional Hospital.
He was born on
March 14, 1961, in Valparaiso, IN, to Ralph and Mary Rudolphi-Gloyeske, both
surviving in Chesterton.
He is also survived
by his brothers, Mark (Chris) Gloyeske of Gurnee, IL, and Clark Gloyeske of
Chesterton, and also by his sister, Mary Jo (Mark) Brust, of Chesterton.
His nieces and
nephews: Ivan Gloyeske of Chicago, Dr. Nika Gloyeske of Indianapolis, Amber
Gloyeske of Chesterton and Elliott and Molly Brust of Chesterton are also
surviving.
He is also survived
by his many special cousins, friends and many aunts and uncles.
Matthew was a
member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Otis. He was a member of The
Plumber’s Union Local 210. He enjoyed woodworking. He loved hockey,
especially the Black Hawks and was a Colts fan too.
Funeral services
will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 10 a.m., St. Patrick Catholic
Church, 638 North Calumet Road, Chesterton, with Father James Meade
officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
The family will
receive friends on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 4 until 8 p.m. at
White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, Chesterton, with a Rosary
Service at 6 p.m.
