James W. Hall, age 93 of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

He was born November 27, 1921, in Hammond, IN, to Walter and Hilda (Schroeder) Hall.

He was married to Lorraine R. (Melcher) Hall.

He is survived by his son, James W. Hall and his life partner, Diane Vokorokos of Burns Harbor, IN; granddaughters, Jill (Trevor) Henschue, Sonia (Mark) Gurrister, Heather (Donnie) Stawalt, Danielle Brokus, Nicole Velez and Angela (Ryan) Velez and great-grandchildren, Tony, Mya, Tori, Scotty, Ryan, Alexia, Ray, Metri, Alex, Bella, Jonathon, Amelia and Bethany.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine Ruth (Melcher) Hall, granddaughter, Tina Brokus and great-granddaughter Nikita Goede.

James was a lifelong resident of Cedar Lake, IN. He retired from Calumet Steel Casting where he worked as a Pattern Maker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN, with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 3, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
