Harry C. Sebastian, age 82 of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Tuesday (New
Years Day), January 1, 2013.
He was born June 8, 1930 in Chicago, Ill., to the late Harry F. Sebastian
and late Mabel (Wegener) Sebastian.
On February 18, 1952, Harry married his sweetheart, the late Rita Marie
Sulek, in Chicago, Ill.

Naylor and his grandchildren Eddie and Rita Young, and Megan and TJ Naylor.
He was also preceded by his sister Dolores (late Paul) Zermer and brother
Gordon (late Gertrude) Sebastian.
Harry loved to work and became a jack of all trades through various jobs,
beginning as a teenager at the Hawthorn Melody Dairy in Chicago, then
opportunity knocked again and he became a meat cutter for Jewel Foods,
finally looking for a new challenge, he entered the world of warehousing for
a fine furniture manufacturer in Chicago.
When Harry's beloved wife passed he moved to Florida to fish and while away
the days, but the worker in him found him more often helping friends and
neighbors with handy work instead of using his fishing pole.
Harry spent his last two years in Chesterton a constant supporter of his
grandchildren's activities, and teaching them a love of gardening and nature
watching.
