Nicholas Dale Weimer, age 29, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away February 14, 2013.

He was born on April 14, 1983, in Valparaiso, to Clinton Daryl and Mary (Lindquist) Weimer, both of whom survive.

He is also survived by his wife Heather Weimer of Valparaiso; son Nathan Weimer; daughter Mikayla Weimer; sisters Stacey (George) Ferguson and Jennifer Weimer, all of Noblesville, Ind.; nephew, Greydon Ferguson; grandparents Phillip and Agnes Lindquist of Chesterton, Ind., along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Jean Weimer.

Nicholas was a 2002 graduate of Portage High School and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He was an amazing artist and enjoyed bowling and anything involving the outdoors. He had a huge heart and was always the first to be there for anyone who called on him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 North Calumet Rd., Chesterton. Interment is to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Chesterton.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a wake service at 5:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage IN 46368.
