Nancy Parker, age 78 of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away on Sunday, February 3,
2013, at the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso.
She was born on January 31, 1935 to Alexander and Thelma Friborg-Penfold,
both of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter Vicki Furness-Santiago of Valparaiso,
grandsons Ryan (Courtney) Cassidy of California and Adrian Cassidy of Texas,
as well as six great-grandchildren: Dillon, Madison, Christian, Kaelin,
Draven and Noah.
Also surviving are her siblings Bob Penfold of New Mexico and Vicki (John)
Henry of Indianapolis, Ind.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings Alice, Charlie, Betty, Dick,
Jack, George, Billy, Alex and Susan.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, at 10:00 a.m. from
the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of
service.
