Glen T. Gloyeske, age 85 of Chesterton, Ind., passed away at the Life Care Center of Valparaiso, Ind., on Wednesday January 16, 2013.

Glen was born August 28, 1927, to Ted and Margaret OíConner Gloyeske.

He is survived by his brothers Ralph (Mary) Gloyeske of Chesterton, Russell (Beverly) Gloyeske of Valparaiso, Ind., Roy (Carol) Gloyeske of LaPorte, Ind., and a sister -in-law Elaine Gloyeske.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and brother Owen.

He loved working on his fatherís farm and riding his horse. Glen retired August 1980 from American Bridge. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Glen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the Chesterton Knights of Columbus. Glen also belonged to the Moose and American Legion.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 640 North Calumet Rd., Chesterton, Ind., with Father James Meade officiating. Burial will follow at the Chesterton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, Chesterton.
