David A. Springer, age 65 of Chesterton, Ind., passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the VNA Hospice Center Valparaiso, Ind.

He was born on May 24, 1947 in Kokomo, Ind., to Lloyd and Daphne Hart Springer, both of whom preceded him in death.

On May 6, 1972 he married Kathleen Willson Springer, who survives in Chesterton.

Also surviving are his daughters Lorraine Springer and Nicole Springer both of Chesterton.

David retired in 2007 as a Field Supervisor working for NIPSCO.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the Porter County Animal Shelter or to the Salvation Army in David’s name.

Arrangements are under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton, Ind.
