Cheryl Ann Miller, age 65 of Chesterton, Ind., passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her home.

She was born on August 12, 1947, in Kankakee, Ill., to Orville O’Lena, who survives in Crown Point, Ind., and Betty Chase O’Lena, who preceded her in death.

On March 15, 1969, in Crown Point, Ind., she married Dennis Miller, who preceded her in death on November 6, 2012.

She is also survived by her son Gary (Michelle) Miller of LaPorte, Ind., and daughter Michelle Collinsworth of Porter, Ind., as well as granddaughters Shayla (Chris) Ribar of Valparaiso, Ind., Katlyn Collinsworth of Porter, Ind., and Lindsey Miller of LaPorte, Ind. Cheryl was also expecting a great-grandchild on March 25. Also surviving is her brother Dan (Linda) O’Lena of Crown Point, Ind.

She is also preceded in death by her brother Charles O’Lena.

Cheryl worked for the Flower Cart, delivering for eight years. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials in Cheryl’s name may be given to the Porter County Cancer Society.
