Thomas Schultz, age
80, of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014.
He was born
November 28, 1933, in Kouts to Vernon and Frances Schultz.
On March 11, 1960,
he married Marjorie Peck, who survives along with their daughters Deborah
(Bill) Siebert of Portage, Ind., Chris (Tony) Galvan of Portage, brother,
James (Florene) Schultz of North Judson, Ind.; grandsons Bradley and Jacob
and one great-grandson, Aiden.
He was preceded in
death by his parents, two sisters, Joanne and Shirley, and one brother,
Kouts High School and served with the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at
Bethlehem Steel Burns Harbor Plant Power Station for 23 years. Following
retirement he enjoyed spending time at Bonner Senior Center in Portage where
his pool playing skills became legendary.
A funeral service
will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 Indiana Ave.,
Kouts, Ind., with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be
held on Saturday prior to the service from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m.
