Terrence Mikulski services Thursday

Terrence R. Mikulski, age 67, of Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at 6:00 a.m. in his home.

He was born April 18, 1946 in Michigan City, Ind., to the late Walter S. "Lefty" and Josephine (Witek) Mikulski.

Surviving are three daughters, Tricia (Doug) Hunt of Portage, Mich., Tracie (Todd) Kleven of Crown Point, Ind. and Terri (Sean) Fitzpatrick of Michigan City, Ind.

Also, six grandchildren: Brittney Hunt, Kaylee Kleven, Kenzi Kleven, Sydney Taylor, Glorious Taylor, Samuel Fitzpatrick; a sister, Jacqueline (Patrick) Mulchay of Chesterton, Ind.; nephew Michael (Kris) Mulchay of Chesterton and great-nephew Patrick Mulchay.

Terry attended Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. He was a former lead dancer with the Polka Tots. He retired in 2009 after 35 years as a millwright with Arcelor Mittal Steel Mfg., Burns Harbor, Indiana. Terry was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the John Franklin Miller Post 37 and 40 & 8 Voiture club.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 So. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, Ind., with Rev. Kevin Huber, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

The John Franklin Miller American Legion Post 37 will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and full military services Thursday in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
