Services set for Adam Taylor MacDonald

Chesterton resident Adam “Taylor” MacDonald, 58, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, while hospitalized in Michigan City.

He was born on April 30, 1955, the son of Adam T. MacDonald, and Elfaye Azalia MacDonald.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Ryan) Tom of Indianapolis and Kari Connaway of Chesterton; his long-term girlfriend, Jill Bocian; his mother, Elfaye Azalia MacDonald; a sister, Leslie (William) Castle with children Tori and Taylor; his brothers; John and Gene MacDonald; and his grandchildren, Masun and Gavin Connaway and Alec Tom.

Taylor, a lifelong resident of Chesterton, was an entrepreneurial consultant who owned and operated his own business. He dedicated his life to his children and grandchildren, enjoyed living life to the fullest extent possible, and was a dedicated friend and father to those around him.

Funeral services, Paster Porter officiating, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway in Chesterton, with burial at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Edmonds & Evans.
