2014, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Mary was born on December 2, 1926, in Smithville, Ind., to Warren R. and
Clara J. (McCammon) Wisley, both of whom preceded her in death.
On November 5, 1947, in Lake County, Ind., Mary married Donald Wilber, who
preceded her in death in 1993.
Also preceding her was her son Marvin Ray.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Jim) Dibkey of Porter, Ind., and
Debbye Black of Valparaiso; five grandchildren, Shamara Foreman, Koja
Fillwock and Carrie Sosa, Kristina (Jim) Schnurr and Kim (Chet) Setser;
seven great-grandchildren; Nick Weisner, Chenoa Rayn and Matthew Schnurr,

Mary had worked as a teller at First Federal in Lake Station, but also wore
many other "hats." Most knew her as a loving granny, a caretaker, a
peacekeeper, a chef who would feed anyone and everyone and a wonderful baker
whose cookies overflowed her kitchen into every room of her house. She
attended Real Life Community Church in Portage, Ind.
