Keith A. Bratcher, age 59 of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, in Porter, Ind.

He was born on September 21, 1953, in Gary, Ind., to Howard and Carol Morris Bratcher, both of whom preceded him in death.

His son Lance (Amy) Bratcher survives in Porter, Ind., as do his grandsons Philip and Lance, Jr., also of Porter.

Keith is also survived by his siblings David (Marie) Bratcher of Fort Wayne, Ind., Shary Smith of Westin, Fla., Michael Bratcher of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Ann (Tucker) Griffin of Chesterton, Ind., Mark (Vanessa) Bratcher of Rochester, New York, Craig (Christina) Bratcher of Cebu, Philippines, Yvonne (Bill) Mears of Chesterton, Ind. and brother--in-law Scot Miller, of Chesterton.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Annie in 2007 and a sister Eilleen Miller.

Keith also leaves behind his loyal companion and best friend Bosco, a chocolate lab.

Keith retired as an electrician at Midwest Steel. He moved with Annie to Mountain Home, Ark., in 2005.

In Arkansas he was a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing in his retirement.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton, Ind., 926-1309.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Keith will then be taken to Mountain Home, Ark., where he will be placed next to Annie.
