Howard Anderson, 86, of Valparaiso, Ind., formerly of Chesterton, Ind., and
New Holland, Penn., and a retired resident of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away
Friday, May 17, 2013.
He was born May 1, 1927 to William and Elizabeth Anderson. He graduated from
Liberty Township School and received his B.S. in Agriculture from Purdue
University in 1950. Howard had owned Penn-Jersey Harvestore in New Holland,
Penn., until 1984. His pleasant, energetic and playful personality served
him well in business and in leisure, traveling the world, entertaining
guests and cheering on his beloved Boilermakers.
He was preceded in death by his business partner, Charles R. Enloe, in 2010,
his parents and siblings Mary Haydorn, Florence Dillon, Robert Anderson,
Richard Anderson, Elizabeth Martinal and Charles Anderson.
He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a private family memorial
service will be held.
