Alice Todd dies at age 81

Alice Todd died Monday, October 14, 2013, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years.

She was born September 2, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Peter and Josephine Poplauskis Yoksas.

She was married April 20, 1952, in Chesterton, Ind., to Harvey Todd.

She is survived by three daughters, Jody Harness, of Elburn, Ill., Kathy Kramer, of Owasso, Ok. Lori Westerlin (Rick), of Elburn, Ill.; five grandsons, Chad Harness (Heather), of Aurora, Ill., Jess Kramer (Andrea), of Owasso, Ok., Grant Kramer (Elizabeth) of Owasso, Ok., Mathew Westerlin (Crystal), of Elburn Ill., and Mitchell Westerlin of Elburn, Ill.; two sisters, Laura Johnson, of Dover, Del. and Terry Roberge (Roger), of Solana Beach, Calif.; along with eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harvey Todd, July 22, 2006.

Alice was reared and educated in Chesterton, Ind., and was a graduate of Chesterton High School. She had spent most of her working life in the banking industry as a banking officer. She and Harvey moved to Owasso, Ok., in 1996. Alice enjoyed a variety of pastimes including knitting, crocheting, and painting, as well as working large 3-D puzzles.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso, Ok., with Chaplain Nancy Brown officiating.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to A-Vow Hospice, 2400 North Hemlock Circle, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, 74012.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
