Aloysius “Al” John Jaskolski, age 78, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012.
He was born April 19, 1933 to Ignacy and Anna Jaskolski, both of whom
preceded him in death.
Al was married to Margaret (Dugan) Jaskolski, who survives, of Porter, Ind.
He is also survived by his sons, Steven (Carrie) Jaskolski of Houston, Texas
and Robert Jaskolski; daughter, Suzanne Matheny of Chesterton; a sister and
grandchildren Sean and Megan Matheny of Chesterton, and Nicholas and Noah
Jaskolski of Houston, Texas and his beloved dog Mikey.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Al was a hard-working man and retired from US Steel as a line operator. He
was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War and a member of St.
Patrick Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, on Wednesday, March 7, 2012
from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517
Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, at 12:00 p.m. at the
funeral home with Father James Meade officiating. Burial will follow at
Chesterton Cemetery.
