David Tankiewicz, age 46 of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away Friday, June 22, 2012.

He was born January 28, 1966 in Huntington, Long Island, NY, to Richard and Patricia Tankiewicz, who survive of Colorado.

David is also survived by his brother, Michael Tankiewicz of Colorado; daughter, Ashley Prendergast of North Carolina; sons, Nickolas and Trevor Tankiewicz of Chesterton, Ind.; and an extended family from M & S Collision Centers.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Tankiewicz.

David was employed as a Collision Repair Technician by M & S Collision Centers. He enjoyed baseball and motorcycles.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
