Marcia Moudry, age 58, of Three Oaks, Michigan, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 in Michigan City, Ind.

She was born October 7, 1953 in Valparaiso, Ind., to Jay and Loretta (Michaels-Warble) Jones.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Dale Moudry of Three Oaks, Mich.; daughters, Laurie (S. Douglas) DePung of Chesterton, Ind., Kathleen (Jason) Boatright of Porter, Ind. and Tricia Rippe of Porter, Ind.; brothers, Alan (Delores) Jones of Vernon, Ala. and James Jones of LaPorte, Ind.; step brother, Kevin Rootes of Valparaiso; sister-cousin, April (Mark) Dillingham of Valparaiso; step-sisters, Denise (Dean) McCracken of Chesterton, and Jackie Rootes of Aurora, Ill.; grandchildren, Keith Bradford-DePung, Jacob DePung, Jason Boatright Jr., Kaitlyn Boatright, Justin Rippe and Jayden Rheinholtz as well as many special nieces, nephew and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jay Jones; mother, Loretta Rootes; step-father, Don Rootes; sister, Teena Jones-Harvey; step-brother, Frank Rootes; and grandson, Tyler Oberle.

Marcia worked for Corvette Central in Michigan for many years. She enjoyed walking the beach with her husband and sister collecting beach glass. She was a talented cook and loved baking with her family during the holidays. She also enjoyed crocheting and candle making. Her most precious time was spent with her family and she especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Marcia will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday April 19 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Babcock officiating. Cremation will take place and interment will be held at a later date at Chesterton Cemetery.
