Madge M. Simmons, age 95 of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Chesterton,
Ind., passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, at the Christian North East
Hospital St. Louis.
She was born February 18, 1917 in Tunnel Hill, Ill., to Thomas Isaac and
Melissa Jane Choate Dalton, both of whom preceded her in death.
On September 25, 1937 in Jackson, Missouri, she married Carl E. Simmons, who
also preceded her in death.
Madge is survived by her children Barbara A. Callaway of Edwardsville, Ill.,
Kenneth Edward (Amy L.) Simmons of Chesterton, Ind., Janet F. Grecuia of
Bradenton, Fla., and Carla J. Nickels of Edwardsville Ill., eight
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from
the White-Love Funeral Home. 525 South 2nd St.. Chesterton. Ind. Burial will
be in the Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 until the time of
service.
