Jeffrey Sean Jacko, age 39, of Chesterton passed away unexpectedly in
Michigan City, Indiana following an auto accident.
He was born on April 16, 1972 in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Donald A. and
Sandra L. (Smith) Jacko.
He is survived by his son Dylan Sean Jacko of Chesterton; Brie Jacko of
Chesterton (mother of stepsons Brad and Austyn Lubiniecki of Chesterton and
stepdaughter Karissa Lubiniecki of Chesterton); father Donald A. (wife
Robin) Jacko of Lincoln, Ill.; mother Sandra L. (fiancé George H. Wilson) of
La Crosse, Wisc.; brother Keith A. (wife Bernadette Murphy) Jacko of
Minneapolis, Minn.; grandfather James L. (wife Ellen) Smith of Fillmore,
Ill.; stepbrothers Kevin Franz of Normal, Ill., Tom Franz of Lincoln, Ill.
and Kingsley Keys of Springfield, Ill.; nephew Storm R. Jacko; several
aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Victor W. and Marguerite M.
Jacko and Jo Anne Smith.
Jeffrey was a machinist for KTR Corporation in Michigan City. He loved
fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and the outdoors.
Jeffrey’s life will be celebrated Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home 517 Broadway, Chesterton, with pastors Tim
Wanless and Sonny Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow.
Visitation for Jeffrey will be held on Tuesday January 17, 2012 from 4-8
p.m. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are asked by the family to Dylan Jacko to
help further his education.
