Eileene L. Miller, age 53, of Chesterton, Ind., passed away on Friday,
October 12, 2012.
Eileene was born in Valparaiso, Ind., on September 27, 1959 to Howard James
and Carol (Morris) Bratcher.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Miller; children, Scott A. Miller Jr.
of Westville, and Carol L. Miller of Seattle, Wash.; brothers, David (Marie)
Bratcher of Ind., Michael Bratcher of Cincinnati, Ohio; Keith Bratcher of
Mountain Home, Arkansas.; Mark (Vanessa) Bratcher of Webster, New York and
Craig (Christina) Bratcher of Cebu, Philippines; sisters, Karen Mentzer of
Arkansas and Minnesota; Shari Smith of Fla.; Mary (Charles) Griffin of
Chesterton, and Yvonne (Bill) Mears of Chesterton; granddaughter, Kennedy
Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eileene enjoyed crocheting. She was a gifted singer; she had a beautiful
voice and won awards in high school for her talents. Eileene was especially
fond of cats but was an all-around animal lover.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans
Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.
Visitation for Eileene will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 3:00
p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
