Ann Elizabeth Novak, age 57, of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Wednesday, May
30, 2012 in Valparaiso, Ind.
She was born February 26, 1955 in LaPorte, Ind., to William M. and Josephine
T. (Kuta) Novak, both of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by her fiancé Patrick Oliver of Chesterton; brothers, Gerald
(Doreen) Novak and Richard (Shirley) Novak; sisters, Margaret (David) Fry,
Mary Jo (James) Teets and Kay (Michael) Felton; nieces, Theresa, Pam,
Melissa and Tara; nephews, Theodore, Joseph, Greg, Paul, William and Tommy
and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Ann approached her years-long battle with cancer with a zest for living and
a positive attitude. She loved her dog, Bailey and her work at Republic
Services (Able Disposal).
A memorial Celebration of Life for family, friends and co-workers will be
held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Hawthorne Park Community Center, 500
Ackerman Drive, Porter, Ind. from 2 p.m. through 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Center
in Valparaiso. Envelopes will be available at the memorial celebration.
