Virginia Lee (Lambe) Harnishfeger, 70, of Valparaiso/Liberty Township, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Porter Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1940 in East Chicago to Kosta and Catherine (Bowden) Lambe.

Survivors include one son, Jeff Harnishfeger of Valparaiso/Liberty Township; one brother, Jimmy (Dee) Bowden of Colorado Springs and several nieces and nephews, including Marian (David) Danko of Chesterton and special family friend Shareen Barnack.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kelly, her parents and one brother, Jerry Lambe.

Virginia was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 38 and the DAV both in Colorado Springs.

Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home.
