Timothy Alan Eason, of Sodus, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly at his home
on July 21, 2011.
Tim was born September 13, 1963 to Fred and Linda Eason and grew up in
Chesterton where his parents reside today.
Along with his parents, Tim is survived by his son Shane, age 20, and
daughter Amanda, 18, who both live in Eau Claire, Mich.
Tim is also survived by his sister Becky (Craig) Rothman of Chesterton,
grandfather Wesley John Berrier, Jr.
Tim graduated from Chesterton High School with the class of 1982. After
graduating, he moved to Michigan to begin a career in graphic arts. At the
time of Tim’s death, he was working at The Herald Palladium newspaper.
Tim was a self-taught guitarist starting at age 12 and played every day. His
passion for life came out through his guitar. He had a great love for his
family and he taught his son Shane to play guitar while he encouraged Amanda
to sing along. Together, they enjoyed many years of music.
Tim’s other interests included history, geology and writing poetry.
Tim touched many lives and will be sadly missed by many.

p.m. EST.
The funeral will be Tuesday, July 26, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
