Stephen Himmel, age 47 of Union Grove, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday,
May 19, 2011 in Racine, Wisc.
Stephen was born on June 28, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana to Karl and Norma
(Parker) Himmel.
He worked for Serve Enterprises through Shepherd’s Ministries where he
resided. Stephen enjoyed many things including cook books, cooking shows,
memory cards and Lite Brites.
He was known for the biggest grin you’ve ever seen.
Stephen is survived by his father, Karl Himmel of Porter, brother Brian
Himmel of Union Grove, Wisc., sister Karen Himmel of Porter, and he was
loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his Shepherd’s family in Wisconsin.
Stephen was preceded in death by his mother Norma.
A visitation will be held on Monday May 23, 2011 from 4:00 until time of
service at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Allen Wright officiating at Edmonds & Evans
Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.
A family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, at Chesterton
Cemetery.
