Sharon G. Faught , age 65 of Michigan City, Indiana passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Horton VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, following a lengthy illness.

She was born October 2, 1946 in Dry Branch, West Virginia to Claude and Victoria (Lupson) Bailey, both of whom preceded her in death.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Jesse (Leslie) Kidd of LaPorte, Ind. and Buddie Faught of Union City, Tenn.; daughters, Angela (Greg) Foltz of Michigan City and Fonda Kidd of LaPorte, Ind. Also, her former husband and father of four of her children, Jerry (Evelyn) Kidd of Chesterton; brothers, Dallas (Marianne) Bailey of Orlando, Fla., Doug (Lou) Bailey of St. Albans, West Virginia, Dwain Bailey of Chelyan, West Virginia and Harold Bailey of Winfield, West Virginia; sisters, Vicky (Jimi) Poppiti of Woodbine, Maryland and Donna (Greg) Chambers of Pinch, West Virginia; and grandchildren, Ben, Brittany, Brooke, Reanna, Kaley, Derek, Jasmine, Dillon and Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddie Faught, son Darrin C. Kidd, brother Darrell Bailey and sisters Gladys Pettry, Joyce Nelson, Fonda Knott and Claudette Allen.

Sharon worked as a CNA at the Waters of Duneland Health Care Center. She was a member of the Jolly 60ís and the Sing a Long at the Senior Center in Michigan City.

Sharon loved spending time with family, cooking and caring for her house plants.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 12 Noon at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind. with Pastor Andy Almanza officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
