Sharon Ann Brockway, 67 of Michigan City, formerly of Chesterton passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011.

She was born in Chicago to Lawrence and Antoinette Stadter on June 12, 1944, both of whom preceded her in death.

Sharon is survived by her sons John Clinton Brockway of Carona, California and Michael Howard (Jennifer) Brockway of Manteca, California; grandchildren Benjamin, Alexandria, Meghan and Joseph; sisters Eilleen (Steve) Eagar of Arizona and Deloris Spaegar of Valparaiso and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was an employee of Wal-Mart, working as a checker. She participated in many craft shows with her hand sewn projects, enjoying the Wizard of Oz Festival.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011 with a 5:00 p.m. funeral service following at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton, Father James Meade officiating. Cremation is to follow.
