Herbert T. McClure of Valparaiso, formerly of Porter, Ind., passed away on
Sept. 16, 2011 at VNA Hospice, Valparaiso.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on May 12, 1942, to Arnold McClure and
Genevieve (Afolter) McClure.
He is survived by his children, Bryan (Karen) McClure, Las Vegas, Nev.,
David (Sherry) McClure, Highland, Ind., Kathleen (Joel) Jacobson, Vernon
Hills, Ill., Tom (Sara) McClure, LaPorte and Jerry (Carolyn Kamber) McClure
of Valparaiso, as well as six grandchildren, Madison and Jake McClure, R.J.
and Jenna Jacobson, Caibhan and Lydienne McClure and two brothers and two
sisters in other states.
Herb was employed at Arcelor Mittal (Bethlehem, Burns Harbor) in the Blast
Furnace Department.
