Service set for Jamalle 'Sam' Andershock

Jamalle “Sam” Andershock of Chesterton passed away on March 4, 2011. She was 59.

She was born in Michigan City on June 20, 1951 to James C. and Helen D. (Liss) Andershock. Sam worked for Mittal Steel, formerly Bethlehem Steel, for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling and going to the St. Joe Club. She also loved attending farmer’s markets and festivals.

Sam is survived by her brother, James A. Andershock of Chesterton; sister, Joyce Andershock of Chesterton; niece, Erika Rodriguez; and nephew, Brandon Andershock.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Furnessville Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.EE-FH.com
