Ruth A. Setser, 83, of Westville passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 in
LaPorte, Indiana.
She was born June 9, 1928 to Henry and Agnes (Nordholm) Morrical, both of
whom preceded her in death.
On November 11, 1955 she married John Setser, who also preceded her.
Surviving are children Agnes “Sis” (Richard) Thompson of Westville and Bryan
(Janet) Setser of Westville, cousin Cathy Nordholm of Brownsburg, Ind., six
grandchildren, John Paul Thompson, Ashley (Chad) Fitzmaurice, Taylor
Thompson, Carrie Walker, Stacey (Mike) Okray and Krista (Mike) Garus as well
as four great-grandchildren, John Thomas Fitzmaurice, Bryan and Hannah
Walker and Mike Garus and dear and close friend Elsie Scheetz, of
Chesterton.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 21 at 11:00 a.m. at
Chesterton Cemetery with Pastor Katie Lindberg officiating.
A visitation for Ruth will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2011 from 3:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 West Walnut St., Westville.
