Joanne Anderson of Michigan City passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Michigan City. She was 61.

She was born Jan. 15, 1950 in Valparaiso to Nathan and Hazel Anderson, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Elston High School in Michigan City, Class of 1968.

Joanne is survived by her brothers, Nathan R. Anderson of Buffalo, Mo. and Bob (wife Jacqueline) Anderson of Chesterton; and sister Carol Lindquist of Chesterton.

There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at Chesterton Cemetery with Pastor Jane Aicher officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.EE-FH.com
