Pamela Jean “PJ” Curry of Valparaiso passed away on Wednesday, March 23,
2011 at her home. She was 57.
Born on Sept. 1,
1953 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Angelo Rosaschi, Sr. and Norma (Sandefur)
Dickinson. PJ was a life long area resident and graduated from George Rogers
Clark High School in 1972. She retired after 32 years from White Castle. PJ
loved spending time and caring for her many grandchildren and spending time
on Facebook, which was her passion. She also loved collecting dolls.
She is survived
by her husband, Roger Curry of Valparaiso; four children, Bobby Paul
Shelton, Jr. of Hobart, Crystal Jean (Gary) Babcock of Westville, Rodney Lee
(Becky) Curry of Portage, and Debra Renee (Carlos Pedroza) Flagg of Portage;
brothers and sisters Angelo (Joyce) Rosaschi, Jr. of Merrillville, John
(Sue) Rosaschi of Schererville, Ricky (Susan) Rosaschi of Chesterton, Cheryl
(Royce) Gibson and Raymond Rosaschi of Madisonville, Tenn., and Jeannie
(Peter) Webster of Valparaiso; 10 loving grandchildren, Nathan and Tristan
Flagg, Mackenzie and Sydney Curry, Aidan Flagg, Merrick, Braden and Hunter
Babcock and Collin and Carson Pedroza; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service
will be held on Tuesday, March 29 at 11 a.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home
Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage. Entombment will follow at
Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, from
