Callie Faye Nelson passed away in August, 2011.
She was born on Sept. 21, 1968 in East Chicago, Ind., to David (Rhonda)
Price and Alice (Bishop) Maloney.
She is survived by her former husband Daniel (Susan) Nelson Sr., daughter
Lorelei Nelson and son Daniel Nelson, Jr.
She is also survived by three siblings; Char (Augie) Herbst, Tommy Palmer
and David Weston Price, as well as aunts and uncles, several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Earl and Bonnie
Bishop and paternal grandfather Westley Middleton. Her paternal grandmother
Elva Middleton survives.
She was a 1986 graduate of Chesterton High School. She also attended Dental
Vocational School, and was a Dental Assistant. She started her career with
Dr. Virgil Gassoway, and went on to work for Dr. Shideler, Dr. McDonalds and
Dr. Haylick, where she had many co-workers she loved working with and with
whom she became close friends.
She always loved her career and had a natural ability to comfort her
patients, especially young children.
She was a beautiful person, a devoted mother with a never ending love for
her children, who has touched many lives and will forever be missed. Her
personal motto was “live, laugh and love.”
A memorial service for Callie will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2011
at 11 a.m., with Pastor Loraineri Rizer officiating, at the White-Love
Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, Chesterton, Indiana.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 10 a.m.
until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victims Assistance Program
for the state of Wyoming in memory of Callie, in the care of White-Love
Funeral Home.
