Chesterton resident William “Bill” P. McManigal passed away Thursday, June
10, 2010 at Seasons Hospice/Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was 67.
He was born November 18, 1942 in Oak Park, Ill., to Patrick Henry and
Cecilia Marie (Baunach) McManigal, who preceded him in death. He is survived
by his beloved wife of 35 years, Angela T. McManigal; sons Fionn, Lawrence
and Victor McManigal; daughters Maria and JoAnna McManigal; brother Tom
McManigal; six nephews; several grandnephews; and numerous loving relatives.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike McManigal.
Bill’s lifelong occupation was in real estate development. He was the
founder of the Lakeview Developers’ Association and was a proud member of
the NRA.
Visitation is Monday, June 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:30
p.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Family
and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 15
at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet, Chesterton. Father
James Meade will be celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery,
