Victoria P. “Vicki” McCormick of Portage passed away on Saturday, Oct. 30,
2010 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 61.
She was born April 10, 1949 in Chicago to Nicholas Canzoneri and Jean (Maurici)
Canzoneri-Glusak, who preceded her in death. Vicki was a long time area
resident and owner of Victoria’s Hair Affair. She was known by her
grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, as Nana Treats.
On Feb. 22, 1979, she married John McCormick, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Melvin Eldridge of Chesterton, Lisa Lotfi of
Chesterton and Stacey Eldridge of Westville; five grandchildren Victoria
Lotfi, Matthew Eldridge, Stephen Eldridge, Mia Eldridge and Kailee Eldridge;
three brothers Nicholas (wife Tammy) Canzoneri of Westville, Chuck Canzoneri
of Valparaiso and Joey (Kim) Glusak of DeMotte; three sisters Mary Jean
(husband Jim) Marvel of Westville, Sharon Canzoneri of Valparaiso, and Kathy
(Dave) Jancosek of Crown Point; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by one son, Brian Eldridge.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the Edmonds &
Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage. Burial will
follow in Angelcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 3 to
8 p.m. at the funeral home.
