Chesterton resident Stephen Fishero passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 as a result of an ATV accident in Michigan. He was 51.

He was born November 23, 1958 in Springfield, Mass. He was married to Kathy (Tucker) Fishero, who survives of Chesterton.

Also surviving are his father Gordon Fishero (wife Helen) of Hebron; daughters, Lindsey Delgado (husband Chris) of Hebron, Sarah Gray of Milwaukee, Wis., and Laura Bolde (Thomas) of DeMotte; sister Lisa Allen (Charlie) of Detroit, Mich.; and grandchildren Sevetta, Thomas, Vance and Austin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (McNally) Fishero.

Stephen was a lifelong area resident who worked in construction for Amoco before retiring.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, with Rev. Terry Rhine officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. www.EE-FH.com
