Theodore P. Zukoski of Chesterton passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010. He was
83.
He was born November 9, 1926 in Wabeno, Wisc. to Michael and Antonette
Wojtkiewicz-Zukoski, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Simmons-Zukoski of Chesterton; children
Theodore (wife Bridgette) Zukoski, Terry (Jane) Zukoski, Timothy (Robin)
Zukoski, Diane Terpstra, Richard Klisiak, Janice (husband Roger) Sawyer,
Katherine Osteen and Toni Pearce; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
brothers Harold (Carol) Zukoski and Kenneth Zukoski; sister Dorothy Zukoski;
brothers and sisters-in-laws Earl Meyer, Mary Feinstein, Margaret (Jim)
Duffala, John (Josephine) Simmons and Joe (Dolores) Simmons; and many nieces
and nephews.
Ted was preceded in death by sons-in-law William Terpstra and Mark Pearce,
sister Roselyn Meyer, brother George Zukoski, and sister-in-law Joan Zukoski.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the Knights
of Columbus in Lansing, Ill. He was an Operating Engineer for Local 150 for
40 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at
St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Road, Chesterton, with Father
James Meade officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until
the time of Mass on July 17. Memorials may be given to the VNA Hospice of
