Valparaiso resident Paul D. Murray passed away on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at
the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso. He was 70.
He was born on Sept. 30, 1940 to John Murray and Edna (Green) Murray. He is
survived by his wife, Juanita “Pinky” Murray of Chesterton, son Anthony
(wife Aileen) Murray, and sister Melita (husband Allen) Jacques.
Paul was a United States Navy Veteran, was active in Boy Scout Troop 929
with his son, and loved classic cars. He was also a machinist and loved
spending his time in the garage. He retired as a millwright from Bethlehem
Steel, where he worked for 30 years. Paul was the best husband and father a
family could have in their life.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the
White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton. Memorials may be
given to VNA Horton Hospice in Valparaiso in Paul’s name. For additional
