Chesterton resident Anthony V. Rodenas passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at his home. He was 36.

Born Dec. 19, 1973 in East Chicago, he was the son of Gabriel G. Rodenas Jr., who preceded him in death, and Helen (Bendiks) Rodenas, who survives in Chesterton.

Also surviving are brothers Michael Rodenas and Christopher Rodenas (wife Bonnie); sister Stephanie Mahler (husband Matthew); uncle Ron Bendiks (Phyllis); aunt Julia Volkman; nieces and nephews Addison Grace, Nicholas and Charlie; and cousins Carl Volkman, Carla Knight, Callie Campbell (Steve), Cosmo Volkman, Pam Zimmerman (John), Camille Stupar, Faye Adams (Dave) and Tricia Aryesen (Scott).

The funeral service will be held at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 12. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
