Scott A. Minton of Walkerton, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at
the VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso. He was 38.
Born on Feb. 4, 1971 in Michigan City, he was the son of Stephan and Barbara
(Shepperson) Minton. He worked for I/N Kote in operations and was a member
of ABATE.
Scott is survived by his grandmother, Ethel Shepperson, of Michigan City and
his companion Traci Hiatt of Porter.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. at Edmonds &
Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Cremation will be in Heritage
Crematory, Portage. A visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the
time of service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials for Scott may be
made to the VNA Horton Hospice Center.
