Porter resident Mary E. Ray passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010. She was
85.
Mary was born Nov. 2, 1924 in Chicago to the late Matthew and Anna (Wagner)
Tkalec.
She is survived by her children, Judith Lesniak (husband Leo) of Porter,
Stephen Ray of Porter and Robert Ray (wife Sherry) of Union Mills; brother
John Tkalec (Marilynn) of Medaryville; grandchildren Erin, Alex, Kevin,
Chad, Brent and Justin; and great-grandchildren Kailyn, Alyssa, Lyssa and
Conner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Ray, in 1985.
Funeral services will be held privately and interment will be at Chesterton
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
